Alcantarilla, strategically located at a crossroads close to the main communication routes, has shown us an interesting legacy since ancient times: a 15th century Ferris wheel originally built in wood, a fundamental piece of traditional Murcian irrigation. The Noria Aqueduct, which carries the water raised by the Wheel, with a length of 147 meters. The Garden Museum, designed as a complement to the Ferris Wheel and the Aqueduct, strategically located in a highly relevant historical context, with an area of 10,534 m2, its contents allow the visitor to learn about the ancient traditions and customs of garden life. .
In addition, the destination has an Urban Art Route with more than 50 graffiti, with artists of national and international relevance, including a mural by British artist Dale Grimshaw, fifth best graffiti in the world in 2021 by Street Art Cities.
Declared of Regional Tourist Interest, its May Festival for ten days with parades, parades, pilgrimages and music in the street and Holy Week with processions, concerts and religious events.
