It is a town with one of the most beautiful landscapes on the island of Lanzarote.
Known as “Valley of the 1000 palm trees” due to the palm grove that gives it its attractions, being one of the best native palm groves in the Canary Islands. All its activity revolves around the square that forms the center of its historic center. In the shadow of the mysterious Corona volcano he would make his dream sleep, lulled by the tranquility of a rural landscape of great interest.
The artisanal and manufacturing tradition is one of the greatest values of the modern Haría. “Haría Artesanal” is a market specialized in crafts and organic agriculture, which was born in 2001 to promote the sale of artisan products and bring the diverse and profound Hariana ethnography closer to Lanzarote residents and foreigners. It is celebrated every Saturday morning in the Plaza de Haría.
Haría offers travelers a multitude of pleasant experiences with which to fill their suitcase with memories. A visit to the House Museum of the famous artist César Manrique is a must and Plaza León y Castillo invites you to relax under the shade of its laurels and eucalyptus trees.
Admission to the Smart Tourism Destinations Programme | Haría joined the Smart Tourist Destinations project by preparing the Diagnostic Report and Action Plan for the transformation of it into a Smart Tourist Destination, carried out in December 2024. |
