Calvià is a privileged destination lying between the coast and the mountains and offering a wide range of experiences all year round. Discovering Calvià is hard to beat.
Calvià is an ideal destination for discovering nature, with countless paths and trails surrounded by the sea and the mountains: from the imposing Galatzó mountain reserve, to the more than 53 km of coastline with its white sandy beaches and coves, not to mention the impressive marine reserve of the Malgrats Islands and the island of Toro.
Calvià‘s climate allows sports to be practised all year round within an attractive environment, with excellent sports facilities and a full range of complementary services to make training stages or international competitions truly unforgettable experiences. The municipality has five golf courses, four marinas, indoor swimming pools, football pitches and numerous gyms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
Heritage combined with tradition never fails to impress. Being able to travel back in time, thanks to its rich archaeological heritage, such as the Archaeological Park of Puig de sa Morisca, or thanks to its traditional festivities of the Rei en Jaume to commemorate the conquest of Mallorca, allows you to get to know the sheer diversity of cultures and peoples that have inhabited the Balearic Islands at one point or other.
And there is also space for culture, music and fun, with wonderful events such as the Expanded Literature Festival in Magaluf or the Mallorca Live Festival.
Admission to the Smart Tourism Destinations Programme | The destination joined the Smart Tourism Destinations Network in February 2019 and completed the diagnostic report and action plan for its transformation into a Smart Destination in December 2021. |
