Cambrils is a charming coastal municipality located in the center of the Costa Daurada, in the province of Tarragona. It stands out for its cozy atmosphere and its rich gastronomic, fishing and agricultural tradition.
The fishing port of Cambrils, one of the most important in the region, is a vital nucleus for the local community. Here, fishermen land their fresh catches from the Mediterranean daily, which are then transformed into delicious dishes in the many top-notch restaurants. The local gastronomy, based on fish, seafood and agricultural products, offers traditional recipes such as “Romesco de Cambrils” and “Els Fideus Rossos”, as well as a multi-award-winning extra virgin olive oil.
The beaches of Cambrils, with fine golden sand, extend for nine kilometers, ideal for enjoying the sun and practicing water sports such as paddle surfing, windsurfing and diving, among others. The marina is also a meeting point for nautical lovers.
Recognized by the Catalan Tourism Agency as a Family Tourism Destination, Cambrils and its tourism companies offer numerous activities and services designed for families. In addition, it is recognized as a Sports Tourism Destination, thanks to the specialization of its hotel establishments, the quality of its facilities and its environment, which favor the practice of various activities, especially cycle tourism, golf, sailing and football.
