- Hoyo de Manzanares is a municipality with a significant degree of environmental protection as 100% of the territory is protected by the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares Regional Park, which guarantees the conservation of its biodiversity.
- The town is a member of the Community of Madrid Cultural Heritage Network, which promotes an approach to social challenges in the management of cultural heritage, through three components: social participation, sustainable management and knowledge transfer, in in which the Archaeological Site of La Cabilda appears as an exemplary case of the values and objectives of this initiative.
- It is part of the Network of Tourist Offices of the Community of Madrid and within the framework of the Sierra de Guadarrama Destination, it has the SICTED quality mark, promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism, since 2013.
- As a member of the Association for the Development of the Sierra de Guadarrama, ADESGAM works for the development, promotion, promotion, expansion and consolidation of actions aimed at the sustainable development of the region.
