La Vila Joiosa is history, gastronomy, nature and sea all in one, with its own unique identity. Each of the civilisations that have passed through this land —and there have been many— have left their mark.
A history that has always been intrinsically linked to the sea, a Mediterranean full of light, colour and life that bathes the 15 km of coastline of this beautiful seaside town on the Costa Blanca.
It also stages some magnificent Moorish and Christian festivities throughout the year, including the ‘Desembarc’, which has been declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest.
