Las Rozas is located in a unique enclave: a step away from Madrid, at the foot of the mountains, well connected by road and public transport, surrounded by nature, surrounded by parks and residential areas to satisfy all tastes.
Currently, Las Rozas is immersed in a transformation process to improve the management of its tourist resources. These resources are fundamentally shopping and sports, framed in a natural environment that also receives numerous visitors. Situation that necessarily pushes to a management and revitalization of said tourists and visitors. In addition, it must be considered that Las Rozas has one of the most important and international bets on sport. In its sports centers it hosts international competitions such as the World Padel Tour or the rugby matches of the national team, not to mention that Las Rozas is the headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation, where matches of the different national teams of soccer.

| Outstanding initiatives

- Las Rozas is the City of Science and Innovation, a title granted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation in June 2022. The award aims to promote collaboration between town halls and contribute to changing the production model based on knowledge and R+D+I.
- Las Rozas City Council revalidated the Infoparticipa 2022 Seal, which recognizes the level of transparency and the quality of the public communication of the city councils for the third consecutive year.
- In 2022 they were recognized with the Award for the Best Digitalization Initiative or Project Developed in the Public Administrations Field, within the first edition of the Digitalization Awards of the Community of Madrid.
- Las Rozas Innova, a municipal company, put a free and personalized Digital Sherpas program at the service of local businesses and services to help them in their digital transformation and be more competitive.
- Las Rozas de Madrid presents qualities in environmental, social and economic matters conducive to establishing itself as one of the benchmark municipalities in terms of environmental sustainability. The municipality finds part of its territory integrated into the Biosphere Reserve of the Upper Basins of the Manzanares, Lozoya and Guadarrama rivers, as well as the Regional Park of the middle course of the Guadarrama river, with the main objective of promoting the sustainable development of said spaces.
