The great challenge facing the Tourism Service is to implement its PSTD called Pamplona SF365. Financed by the Next Generation funds, this project aims to develop a city tourism model based on environmental, socioeconomic and territorial sustainability, so that the benefits of tourism brings extended to the whole of society.
Pamplona’s sustainability plan is structured around 4 axes and 13 actions. Axis 1, green transition, consists of four actions: sustainable urban drainage systems; cycling tourism; safe and smart car parks; urban ecotourism and circular city. Axis 2 focuses on improving energy efficiency. The actions of this axis are: Meet Green Pamplona; sustainable architecture for tourism; and the plan for urban tourist mobility, walkability, flow management and load capacity. Axis 3 is structured around the digital transition, and its actions are focused on: smart governance, SF365 virtual urban space, and digital marketing plan 2022-2024. The last axis revolves around competitiveness. The actions of this axis focus on: SF365 Sustainable Sanfermines; SF365 Accessible Sanfermines and Pamplona PSTD Management Office. |
