The historic town of Santiago del Teide, located on the island of Tenerife, is a tourist destination full of natural, cultural and historical charm.
Situated between the mountains and the ocean, it offers a unique blend of volcanic landscapes and coastline. One of its main attractions is the Los Gigantes Cliffs, impressive volcanic rock walls that rise up to 600 metres above the sea. From here, visitors can enjoy boat trips to see cetaceans, such as dolphins and whales, in their natural habitat. In addition, Santiago del Teide is known for being the gateway to Masca, a picturesque hamlet nestled in a ravine, famous for its hiking trails with spectacular views. The Ermita de Santiago Apostol hermitage, the old town and the almond blossom plantations in spring add a cultural and traditional touch.
The diversity of activities, from hiking in volcanic landscapes to black sand beaches and marine wildlife watching, make Santiago del Teide an ideal destination for lovers of nature, tranquillity and Canarian traditions.
