Valencia - Smart Tourist Destination

València is a lively city where you can enjoy life, its traditions and its modernity.

For València, being intelligent consists of preserving and promoting the lifestyle that makes it unique. For this reason, environmental, social and economic sustainability are at the heart of a tourist strategy aimed at making everyone feel welcome and alive.

These were just some of the reasons why it was elected European Smart Tourism Capital in 2022, and why in 2024 it will be European Green Capital.

Inclusion within the Smart Destinations project

The destination joined the DTI network in February 2019. In September 2022, it completed the diagnostic report and action plan for its transformation into a smart destination.
