This publication brings together accessibility initiatives identified from the review of the main sources and publications on accessibility in local entities, as well as through interviews carried out in the first half of 2022 with experts, specialists and tourism managers. A selection of the relevant actions was made taking account of the criteria established by SEGITTUR to categorise an action as a good practice.

This guide has been prepared thanks to the participation and knowledge shared by academics, specialists, experts in the sector and, especially, destination managers from the Smart Tourist Destinations Network who have helped to identify the good practices, compare and validate them.
