SEGITTUR and the COTEC Foundation have prepared the report Jobs of the future for Smart Cities and Tourist Destinations, which includes a proposal for 46 jobs to address the challenges of smart development in local entities.

This report is one of the initiatives linked to the collaboration agreement signed between both entities, whose objective is to promote innovation in general in the tourism sector; and in smart tourist destinations, in particular.

To prepare the report, in collaboration with Singularity Experts, the new jobs have been linked to the smart tourist destinations model. This process has allowed the selection of 46 new jobs.

The new jobs are linked to three areas: services to citizens and visitors, transformation of the local entity and intelligent management of the destination.
