A tourist office is no longer merely physical venue for registering visitors, it consolidates all channels for interacting with future visitors and this is the main problem they face, as they only have data on visitors that proactively register their visit, meaning it is not possible to obtain the “complete picture” of the destination. To this end, the Cicerone Platform has a module that brings together everything a Tourist Office needs, not only to serve and register those visiting the establishment, but also to obtain information and automatically attend to the other channels where the remaining 90% of tourists are located.
This switches the old paradigm of the expert first reporting (via a map or screen), then recording and finally performing the survey, as Cicerone does it all at once. By centralising records from websites, social media and different offices as well as staying in touch thanks to proprietary CRM, to ascertain their actual opinion once they leave the destination, it is possible to generate reports that can be exported on a monthly basis, even sending them to the private sector to view visitor trends and requests, thus adapting local products and services.
