The digitisation of the urban water cycle involves monitoring all stages of the water cycle through the sensorisation and automation of all the elements that form part of the ecosystem. Digitisation is structured around three pillars: generating operational efficiencies, reducing costs and improving revenues.
The proposal entails different solutions depending on the stage of the cycle:
- Sensorisation of the quality, quantity and pressure of the water captured and injected into the supply network.
- Digital Twin solutions that make it possible to analyse the theoretical situation of the infrastructure to help with decision-making and/or anticipate possible incidents.
- Consolidated operations centre for the remote supervision and control of resources that form part of the series of managed infrastructures, which may be dispersed at a geographic and organisational level.
- Remote meter reading with NB-IOT technology. Comprehensive solution that facilitates accurate billing and enables sustainable water management. Guarantees the metrological lifetime (>12 years) and reception of data at daily delivery rates of more than 97%.
- Customer portal for controlling consumption and reporting breakdowns.
- Leak detection: through remote reading and sectorisation, non-registered water caused by fraud or leaks is significantly reduced.
- Single interface providers a global overview of the functioning and operation of the sewage network, speeding up decision-making to optimise the functioning of the network.
- Remote monitoring and supervision of one or more wastewater treatment plants, regardless of location.
- Early warning systems to predict floods.
